You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give
you a look that says, "Wow, you're right! I never would've thought of that!"

AKC
13 inches - 15 pounds
Ebbie, our mellow, chunky matriarch and the alpha female of our pack rules
by strength, not aggression. She can take any of the group in a tug of war over a stuffed animal and never shed blood.
Although not the fastest in the group she can still run a good short sprint. She has the patience of "Job" and
allows Sassy and Lacey's puppies to crawl and knaw on her without any aggression. She even likes the cat......well
sorta.

AKC
9 inches - 7 pounds
Sassy, named appropriately, came to our home from Cajun Country. Although
her registered color is Liver/Tan, she now has lightened to a soft liver. Sassy thinks she is big stuff and has
never learned that she can't take on a pair of cat claws. She milks the "I'm so small and cute" thing for all it's
worth and acts like a complete "darlin" when visitors come or when she is at the vet's office. She believes that
her house rules are different from the larger dogs and tries to charm her way out of having to spend her day in the dog condo
with the others. She loves Ebbie and is not the least upset when she wants to come in the pen and lay with her puppies.
Photos of her litters are posted on the puppy page.

United All Breed Registry
14 inches - 14 pounds
Registered as Liver/Tan, Lacey's color would be more accurately described as Champagne
Blond. Her coat is beautiful and is extremely thick and wavy. Her coloring is striking and her hazel eyes and
chocolate nose just make her "pop". Lacey is the real agitator in the group and is always looking to challenge
someone, whether over a stuffed animal or a backyard rumble and only yields to Ebbie. She loves to pick on Bogey and
seems to know how to jerk his chain. To date I have lost 12 shoes, at least 9 of them can be credited to Lacey. She knows
as soon as I pick up the tattered pieces that she is in big trouble, but does not seem to be able to curb her appetite for
leather. Although in many ways she is the most independent in the group, she is extremely loyal to her favorite master
and stays at her heels even when the others are otherwise occupied. She is is very gentle in nature and loves children. She
has produced one litter when bred to a Black/Silver mini. That litter consisted of 4 Black/Silver pups and much
to our surprise, one super-coated Wheaton female, which was the smallest in the litter. Her 2008 litter was sired
by Bogey and included Black, Black Silver, Liver and Liver/Tan and Pepper. Most of them stayed within the "Toy" size range.
